Cupcake Central Stall this weekend at the Globe to Globe Music Festival at Namatjira Park, Clayton South

Cupcake Central is going to be at the Globe to Globe World Music Festival this weekend at Namatjira Park, Clayton South. There's an expected crowd of 20,000 people going through the festival over the weekend and there's fireworks at around 9pm on Saturday night. There's going to be quite a few multicultural food stalls, arts & craft stalls, music & dance performances, so make sure you come along for the festivities and look out for the Cupcake Stall! We have a super amazing cupcake display planned so you won't want to miss out.

Location: Namatjira Park, Spring St, Clayton South
Saturday 23rd Jan - 12pm till 10pm.
Sunday 24th Jan - 12pm till 6pm.
The weather conditions for the weekend is looking good so far (knock on wood) but we've been experiencing pretty crazy weather lately...even for Melbourne. 40+ degrees last Monday and freezing wet weather today.

We will also be raising money for Haiti by donating $2 from every "Help Haiti" cupcake we sell on the weekend.
UPDATE: We have decided instead to donate 5% of all our sales this weekend to go towards this appeal to help raise more money to this appeal.

This money will go towards Save The Children whom have a special Haiti Earthquake Emergency Appeal
to help the children and family that have been left devastated by this tragedy.

Even if you can't make it along on this day, I'm sure there are tons of charities and causes that we can try to support - even if it's just $10, it can make a difference. The tragedy that these people are going through is just unimaginable and I tear up everytime I see footage and read about it - they are calling out for help and we have a choice to do so.

I hope to see some of you there this weekend, please come and say HI as I would love to hear from you.

xx

In other news...here are some pics of a few cupcake orders I've had the pleasure of fulfilling.

The lovely couple Alison & Keith's Wedding Cupcake Tower. The groom was in charge of choosing the flavours and decorations of the Wedding cake and I think he did a fantastic job. The flavours are Red Velvet, Vanilla Vanilla and Gluten-Free Chocolate, the mauve hearts matched the bridesmaid's dresses.

The ribbon on the mini cutting cake matches the Bride's Wedding dress.

I absolutely LOVED putting together the tiny bouquet of flowers to put on top of the cutting cake. I'm not a florist but I did somehow channel my inner florist and put together the flowers when setting up the cake at the venue. It was the perfect touch to make the Wedding cupcake tower so elegant.

I finally got my edible image printer last month, just in time for Christmas orders. It's fantastic for companies to promote their business and do a bit of marketing that is "outside the box" which will definitely catch their customers eye - or mouth. Marketing that you can eat, how can you beat that?
